New Hall Valley Country Park
A stunning slice of countryside just a mile from the town centre — perfect for walks, wildlife and weekend exploring.
About New Hall Valley Country Park
New Hall Valley Country Park is a lush green ribbon running through the heart of Sutton Coldfield. Stretching over 200 acres, this award-winning country park offers a beautiful escape just minutes from busy roads and houses — a true local treasure.
Opened officially in 2005, the park sits on historic farmland and follows the path of Plants Brook, passing through meadows, wetlands, and woodlands. It’s named after the nearby New Hall, a 13th-century moated manor house, and it’s packed with charm, wildlife, and activities for all ages.
From family strolls to nature-spotting and fitness trails, New Hall Valley is an absolute gem for local families and outdoor lovers.
